| Lightworks is een commercieel video editing programma. Het is het enige programma dat ik kan vinden dat enigszins een tool biedt om zelf een videoclip te produceren.
Deze software doet wel sound voice-overs opnemen, maar helaas geen video-over van video opnamen. Bovendien is er geen mogelijkheid om gelijktijdige voice-overs van meerdere kanalen tegelijk te maken, zoals met een DAW wel kan.
De trial software kan gratis worden gedownload en geïnstalleerd. . Je download dezelfde software als de pro-versie. Er zijn echter diverse kwaliteitsverhogende opties uitgeschakeld. Zo zijn alle output formats die groter zijn dan 720p uitgeschakeld. Dan kunnen er geen HDR
Dat betekent echter dat de kwaliteit voldoende zou moeten zijn op YouTube te publiceren maar te slecht is om bijvoorbeeld op TV te bekijken. Na 7 dagen moet je registreren om de trial-versie te kunnen blijven gebruiken. Je kunt dan inloggen om de trial-versie te blijven gebruiken.
De youTube standaard kan wel worden aangehouden.
