In Windows 10 werkt Java niet in de browser Edge, omdat plug-ins in die browser niet worden ondersteund.
Java is not installed by default in Ubuntu, but it can be installed as OpenJDK from the Ubuntu software center. Read OpenJDK vs Oracle first. sudo apt-get install default-jre.
It seems better to install LibreOffice through the Ubuntu software installer. Otherwise the integration with Java is not great. But then Java is needed for some spell checkers.
